• Breaking News......Two members of the University of North Carolina men's basketball team, Quentin Thomas and Rashad McCants, have received a one game suspension by the NCAA and may miss the Tar Heels' semi-final game against Michigan State for testing positive for unspecified substances. . The NCAA conducted random drug testing on all four teams in the NCAA finals yesterday. Otis George, a reserve forward for the Louisville Cardinals also received a one game suspension. No players from Michigan State or Illinois tested positive. NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions Chairman, Thomas Yeager, stated that an emergency appeal has been filed by UNC Athletic Director Dick Baddour.
